Dina Newsom came on staff in 2012 and with a dual role at Kidnect. She managed the business & finance for the Preschool and Child Care, as well as directed our Kids Ministries programming for Beautiful Savior. In the spring of 2020, she transitioned out of the business role into full time ministries.
Dina began her journey as a volunteer by working with our Vacation Bible School program. VBS grew ever bigger, and after many years of convincing she finally joined the staff. Her role quickly expanded in line with her multiple talents. Despite the time it took her to come on staff, Dina was also one of the core leaders that helped found, build, and shape the core DNA that makes Kidnect what it is today. Dina's ability to organize and handle many moving parts at once will help keep her at the core of what Kidnect will become in the future. Dina's faith, and her kids... Jordan, Kenna, and Christian are her life as well as her most important priority. She gained a son-in-law in 2019 that led to a granddaughter in 2020 that keeps her smile going as well. |
